Angels Without Wings

Grieving is not an easy journey.

But I am never walking this road alone because God always makes sure to send angels to keep me company.

I am grateful for friends who do not rush me in moving on, friends who just let me grieve.

They undestand that grief has no immediate cure and only (God’s) time will heal it.

I am blessed to have friends who have been through the same thing.

They know what I am going through and their wisdom is what guides me along the way.

I am fortunate to have friends who continue to pray for my strength and healing, and people who never cease to be united with me in prayer.

My heart may be broken but they help me pick up the pieces.

Faithful friends are a sturdy shelter:
whoever finds one has found a treasure.
Faithful friends are beyond price;
no amount can balance their worth.
Faithful friends are life-saving medicine;
and those who fear the Lord will find them.
~ Sirach 6:14-16

God is eternally good.
