You are most blessed among women and blessed is the fruit of your womb! ~ Luke 1:42
Mary was an ordinary woman.
And yet she played a unique and important role in our salvation as God chose her to become the mother of our Savior.
Despite the so many questions she had about God’s plans, she humbly surrendered to and accepted God’s will.
So great is her faith!
Indeed, she is truly blessed!
How is it that the mother of my Lord comes to me? ~ Luke 1:43
Elizabeth was of old age, and yet God made bear a son.
And, just like Mary, she is just one ordinary woman.
Indeed, nothing is impossible with God!
And God does not necessarily choose extraordinary people in order to carry out His Divine plan.
He only chooses those who are willing to cooperate in doing His will.
We need not be extraordinary in order to do God’s work.
It also doesn’t matter who we are.
We only need to be willing to do the work that God places upon us.
The moment your greeting sounded in my ears, the baby within me suddenly leapt for joy.
~ Luke 1:45
